Ginny Hay
Ginny’s running has been stop/start for approx. 4-5 years, having run in several races but is yet to achieve her ideal finishing time. Ginny wants her running to become part of lifestyle with the odd race to keep focused and consistent. The idea of a sponsored ½ Marathon does just this while pushing her fitness up another notch. She says “It is good fun and the real sense of achievement once you cross that line makes all the hard runs worthwhile”.
Nan Mollison
Nan has a good fitness level pretty fit a great pace setter, always up beat and positive. Nan decided this year that she would run for charities and give something back while she maintains and improves her fitness for the future. Nan is looking into the possibility of becoming a Jog Scotland leader – so there will be no slacking for the rest for us!
Lindsay Snedden
Lindsay – is an old stalwart at the running, at least 25years. He is our mentor and unofficial coach. Running is a big part of Lindsay’s life and he is looking to keep his fitness in check and improve on his finishing times and distance. He has his eye on a (not his first) Marathon in the near future.
As you can see we are all at different levels but enjoy running and want to support the Dr Hadwen Trust. We are not a formal group but please don’t be shy – you are welcome to join us at races or on our training runs.
